St. Anne’s Religious Education program is 100% run by parishioners of St. Anne. All teachers and administrators are parish volunteers or youth assistants (teens ages 14 and above who have been confirmed). We offer weekly classes starting with Pre-School/Pre-K (ages 3 and 4) up to and including a two-year Confirmation class (age 13, 14 and up). Our curriculum is based on a program called BLEST ARE WE, which teaches your child about the Christian faith as well as the doctrine of the Catholic Church.

Welcome to the start of another new and exciting year for CCD. By now almost all the children have completed their registration, been given their books and assigned to a class. If you need to still register a child, please come to the CCD Office.
A few house rules to remind everyone about and to seek your help with:
Drop Off
Please do not drop off your child earlier than the start of class so that the teachers have time to set up for class.
Pick Up
All children from Pre-K up to and including the First Holy Communion class must be collected after class. Please come to the door of your child’s classroom to collect him/her promptly at the end of class.
Waiting for your child
While waiting for your child, please do not wait outside of the classrooms so as not to disturb the children inside.
CCD Office
The CCD Office, as opposed to the Parish Office, is located between classrooms 101 and 102 and next to the stairway that goes down to the lower floor. We are here should you have any issues that you need to discuss.
Teacher Email
Each teacher will send out an email to the parents within 48 hours after the 1st class. If you do not get an email please check your junk mailbox 1st and if you do not have anything let us know.

School Renovation
Once the necessary documents are arranged, the Diocese will immediately proceed with renovating the school. We are planning for the worst if this happens while our classes are in session. We have had a positive initial meeting with an institution in Stanley and would attempt to secure the usage of their premises in the event that we lose ours. If we were unable to make this happen, we would have to secure classrooms elsewhere with the priority being finding space within the neighborhood. This is unfortunately out of our control but we want families to be aware, as we know that any new arrangements could impact family plans for mass participation as well as additional activities of siblings. It should also be mentioned that this most likely would result in additional costs that we have never had to bear in the past and our need to solicit additional fees to cover us during the transition. We will provide more information as we have it.
Teachers Still Needed
We still do not have enough teachers for all classes. As the program is 100% run by volunteers, we ask you to please prayerfully consider stepping forward and teaching a class. We have a curriculum that is well prepared and easy to use. If your heart is willing we can help you get started. The CCD email address is below if you wish to say yes.
