Welcome back to all! We hope you had a rejuvenating and enjoyable summer and are as excited as we are to begin a new year of religious education.
St. Anne’s Religious Education program is 100% run by members of St. Anne’s parish. All teachers and administrators are parish volunteers or youth assistants (teens ages 14 and above who have been confirmed). We offer weekly classes starting with Pre-School/Pre-K (ages 3 and 4) up to and including a two year Confirmation class (age 13, 14 and up). Our curriculum is based on the program called BLEST ARE WE, which teaches your child about the Christian faith as well as the doctrine of the Catholic Church.

Registration Requirements
Please be aware that we have been told that once the necessary documents are arranged, the Diocese will immediately proceed with renovating the school. We are planning for the worst if this happens while our classes are in session. We have had a positive initial meeting with an institution in Stanley and would attempt to secure the usage of their premises in the event that we lose ours. If we are unable to make this happen, we would have to secure classrooms elsewhere with the priority being finding space within the neighborhood. This is unfortunately out of our control but we want families to be aware as we know that any new arrangements could impact family plans for mass participation as well as additional activities of siblings. It should also be mentioned that this most likely would result in additional costs that we have never had to bear in the past and our need to solicit additional fees to cover us during the transition. We will provide more information as we have it.
Teachers Still Needed
Many people have stepped forward to either teach or assist with the teaching of the classes this year. We still do not have enough teachers for all classes though. As the program is 100% run by volunteers, we ask you to please prayerfully consider stepping forward and teaching a class. We have a curriculum that is well prepared and easy to use. If your heart is willing we can help you get started. The CCD email address is below if you wish to say yes.
