Religious Education News

Reminders:

• All CCD classes ended last Sunday other than for students enrolled in First Holy Communion classes (including the class of older students taught by Nini Forino) and the Confirmation class.  
• The last class for Confirmation students is today, May 12^th.
• The last class for all students who will receive First Holy Communion for the first time on May 25th will be next Sunday, May 19^th.  

Upcoming Events:  Please be prompt, as we cannot start until all are present. 

• Thursday, May 16th at 4:30pm: MANDATORY rehearsal for Confirmation Mass.  All Confirmation students and their sponsors MUST attend.
• Saturday, May 18th at 6pm: CONFIRMATION MASS.  Students and Sponsors to be in parish hall by 4:45pm.
• Wednesday, May 22nd at 4:30pm: FIRST HOLY COMMUNION REHEARSAL FOR GROUP ONE (8:45am classes).  All students and at least one parent MUST attend.
• Thursday, May 23rd at 4:30pm: FIRST HOLY COMMUNION REHEARSAL FOR GROUP TWO (10am class and 'older students').  All students and at least one parent MUST attend. Please be prompt as we cannot start until all are present.
• Saturday, May 25^th at 11:30am: GROUP ONE First Holy Communion Mass. Students to be in parish hall by 10:45am.  At 3:00pm: GROUP TWO First Holy Communion Mass.  Students to be in parish hall by 2:15pm.

2013-14 CCD Classes

The schedule for the 2013-2014 CCD year will be published soon.  Please watch the bulletin or the parish website for details.

Online pre-registration for all CCD classes will begin in late May or early June.  Please watch the bulletin or the parish website for details.  Once pre-registration commences, you may access the registration system through the parish website.  Due to renovation work in the school by the Diocese, we will have limited space available to us next year.  Please be sure to register online as soon as possible.  Completion of the registration process, for which you must attend in person, will take place in August at which time you will pay the necessary fees and collect your child(ren)'s books.  If you have any questions, please contact a member of the CCD team at This email address is being protected from spambots. Please note that the Diocese requires that we obtain Baptismal Certificates for all students enrolling in the First Holy Communion classes and Baptismal Certificates as well as proof of First Holy Communion for all students enrolling in the two year Confirmation program. If you do not already have these documents, please obtain copies of them while you are home for the summer. 

The CCD program at St. Anne's relies upon volunteers to teach and administer the program.  Some of our teachers have already agreed to teach again next year, but we need many more volunteers to ensure that we can offer all classes.  Please consider giving of your time and talents to help educate our children in our faith.
