Confirmation:

Congratulations to the eighteen students of our Confirmation class who received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Saturday, May 18th.  Special thanks to their teacher, Jonathan Luk and to his assistant teacher, Angela Choi, for their dedication and commitment of their time and talents in preparing our young people for this important step in their lives.  Thank you also to Joyce Te, Parent Coordinator, for her invaluable support and work throughout the year. 

Reminders:

The last class for all students who will receive First Holy Communion will be this Sunday, May 19th. 

Upcoming Events:

Wednesday, May 22nd at 4:30pm: GROUP ONE FIRST HOLY COMMUNION REHEARSAL (8:45am classes).  All students and at least one parent MUST attend.

Thursday, May 23rd at 4:30pm: GROUP TWO FIRST HOLY COMMUNION REHEARSAL (10am class and 'older students').  All students and at least one parent MUST attend.

Saturday, May 25th at 11:30am: GROUP ONE First Holy Communion Mass. Students to be in parish hall by 10:45am.  At 3:00pm: GROUP TWO First Holy Communion Mass.  Students to be in parish hall by 2:15pm.

Sunday, May 26th at 11:15am Mass -  All children who will receive First Holy Communion on May 25th are invited to attend the 11:15am Mass on May 26th wearing their First Holy Communion attire and to participate in the Crowning of Mary after Communion.  One child is chosen to place the crown on the statue of Mary and the other children will join in the procession, carrying flowers.  Thank you to Marc Forino for coordinating this event.  Should you have any questions, please contact the CCD team at This email address is being protected from spambots. 2013-14 CCD Classes

The schedule for the 2013-2014 CCD year will be published soon and on-line pre-registration for all CCD classes will begin in late May or early June.  Please watch the bulletin or the parish website for details.  Once pre-registration commences, you may access the registration system through the parish website.  Due to renovation work in the school by the Diocese, we will have limited space available to us next year.  Please be sure to register online as soon as possible.  Completion of the registration process, for which you must attend in person, will take place in August, at which time you will pay the necessary fees and collect your child(ren)'s books.  If you have any questions, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. Please note that the Diocese requires that we obtain Baptismal Certificates for all students enrolling in the First Holy Communion classes and Baptismal Certificates as well as proof of First Holy Communion for all students enrolling in the two year Confirmation program. If you do not already have these documents, please obtain copies of them while you are home for the summer. 

The CCD program at St. Anne's relies upon volunteers to teach and administer the program.  Some of our teachers have already agreed to teach again next year but we need many more volunteers to ensure that we can offer all classes.  Please consider giving of your time and talents to help educate our children in our faith.
